The New Norfolk Players presented the second in a series of plays commemorating the centenary of World War 1. "Australia is Truly There" was written by local actor and playwright, Sharon Hutchison. Based on actual Derwent Valley history, the date is April 10th, 1916 and the local recruiting sergeant and the ladies of the Red Cross are doing their bit! The Players would like to thank Mr Tony Nicholson for his help and advice regarding military matters. The Players also took the opportunity to collect for the Central Highlands Red Cross, and collected in excess of $70 on the day. | ||||||
